Our main period for summer internships is July and August, with occasional placements also possible in September. Mandatory school internships are reviewed individually — what matters most to us is ensuring that we can provide sufficient support during your time with us.
You support your team in day-to-day operations, contribute to real tasks, and gain your first practical experience in the respective area. This gives you a realistic insight into everyday working life. You can always find the exact tasks directly in the job posting.
The collective agreement for the metal industry applies, with 38.5 working hours per week. Naturally, after a maximum of 6 hours, you are entitled to a 30-minute break.
If it is the right fit professionally and personally, we are happy if you continue your path at Bekum — whether through another internship, an apprenticeship, or a later career start. This way, your first insight can gradually grow into your future.
On your first day, you get to know your team, the company, and the most important safety rules. Afterwards, you start directly with your first tasks and gain step-by-step insight into everyday working life so that you quickly feel safe and well supported.
